Alex challenges us to consider which story we are living. Are there any aspects of our church that reflect the story told by the Pharisee’s? Which aspects reflect the story told by Jesus?

Alex concludes by recommending we need “a fresh story, headed in a new direction, toward a climactic community marked by our inability to count its number.” If our church needs this, there is a good chance each one of us also needs it. What does your own “fresh story” or “new direction” look like with Jesus at the center?
